Came back to try the catfish on Friday special. Our waitress, Sophia was very attentive. The fish was very delicious. It was not over fried or hard. I loved my selection of the cucumber salad as well. Had almost eaten all my cole slaw before taking a picture!

LOVE this place and the service is GREAT. Prices aren't bad and you get a good amount of food. The Meatloaf, Fried Chicken and Desserts are to die for. Everything is homemade just like Mana or Grandma used to make. If you have to wait for a table trust me it's worth the wait you won't be sorry.

Brought my wife here for her birthday. She ordered the fried chicken, I ordered the Wednesday special spaghetti and side salad. My wife added Lima beans and Mac and cheese. I ordered fried okra and turnip greens. My wife wanted a dessert that had nuts on it and settled for pecan pie. I selected the peach cobbler. Our waitress was okay, she appeared to between a break and serving us. There was another older waitress that refilled our drinks and initially brought out our food. The portions were generous for the price. Would have liked more tomatoes in the side salad but for the most part we were pleased with our service and will probably come back to try their fish on Fridays!

This restaurant would get 5 stars for the waitress alone, but the food was great as well! I ordered the fried chicken with turnip greens and mac & cheese. The fried chicken takes about 25 minutes to prepare but it's worth the wait! They have plenty of desserts to choose from, including hot peach cobbler. This is a place I could see myself returning to again and again.

I need to start with the best part of the entire visit...the people. The staff was friendly, greeted you with a smile, and welcomed you to the restaurant. Such a family vibe makes it a great place. They were very patient as my wife perused the menu looking for her selection. We have been here for dinner with friends and found it to be such a great experience that we came back again and the experience was the same. Our third visit was to check them out for breakfast. I think the food, and particularly the portions were right in line with the price. The biscuits though, man I could go on and on about the warm fresh biscuits that start your meal. The wife was a bit disappointed in her blueberry pancakes but was still very satisfied with her meal overall. I am not sure what they do to the Tater Tots, if it is the oil they use or some other seasoning, but they were delicious and you could not taste a hint of grease or oil. The eggs and grits were perfect and I will order these again. The one knock is that I would have like to see fresh squeezed Orange Juice, and not a gallon jug out in the open for all to see. I will be coming back, maybe this Sunday for breakfast with my wonderful wife.
